This all-levels creative writing group, led by Mel offers participants the opportunity to explore their creativity through writing and group discussions.

The IT Club
is a digital support group led by Claudine. This small group help support people who are digitally exluded or just need more support with computers, phones or tablets.
Digital Inclusion

Currently open Wednesday and Friday in central Walthamstow, The Snug is a welcoming community space dedicated to supporting mental wellbeing, building connections, and reducing social isolation. Open to anyone experiencing mild to severe mental health challenges, it provides a safe and supportive place where people can connect with others, access informal support, and take part in meaningful activities.

Warm, inclusive, and relaxing, The Snug offers a calm environment where individuals can build confidence, develop new interests, and find a sense of purpose through a varied programme of gentle activities designed to promote wellbeing, creativity, and recovery.

We are proud that The Snug received the Pride of Waltham Forest Wellbeing Award 2025, recognising its positive impact on local residents and its commitment to improving community wellbeing.

Referrals

Referrals are welcome from Community Mental Health Teams, Social Prescribers, and through self-referral.  A referral form is available via www.crestwf.org.uk

is a peer-to-peer arts group led by Jane Evans, founder of Pharmacollagy, a collage-based arts collective. Open to all skill levels, SnugArt welcomes anyone with an interest in creative expression.

Discovering Calm Breathwork & Yoga
is a relaxing yoga and breathwork group led by Laura-Mai Edwards, founder of Root Beginnings. The gentle, yoga-based practice is suitable for all levels and offers a calming, supportive environment for participants.

is a peer-to-peer discussion group, facilitated by Sebastian (Zebbie) Blake, providing an inclusive platform for individuals—especially those who may feel isolated—to engage and contribute meaningfully to conversations.

The Snug drop-in service takes place on Friday mornings from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Volunteers offer a warm welcome, along with tea, coffee, and toast with a variety of toppings

Dance, Move and Groove – for All Levels

Come along and enjoy a fun, welcoming space where everyone can move to the music in their own way. Dance, Move and Groove is a positive and inclusive session open to all levels—no experience needed. Led by Mette, the class focuses on enjoying movement, building confidence, and connecting with others in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Whether you want to boost your mood, get active, or simply have fun, everyone is welcome.

Snug Steps – Group Walk

Snug Steps is a friendly group walk that takes place every Friday from 12:30–1:15pm. It’s a great way to get some fresh air, stretch your legs, and connect with others in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
