CREST Waltham Forest is currently seeking to appoint to the following two posts:
Harmony Hall Premises Manager
Full-time, 37.5 hours a week, £18,000 per annum
The post-holder will play a key role in overseeing the strategic development and administration of Harmony Hall. Working closely with the CREST Manager, and local statutory and voluntary sector partners, the Premises Manager will work to ensure that Harmony Hall is a vibrant, well managed and attractive facility serving local community providers and residents. Alongside centre management, the post combines elements of community development, as well as developing and increasing the number and roles for volunteers. The post holder will need a strong commitment to enabling members of the community to get involved and help manage events at the Centre. The post holder will need to be self-reliant, energetic and able to prioritise activities.
Disability Support Worker
Part-time, 18 hours a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays), £7,767 per annum
Working alongside an established team, the post-holder will have responsibility for supporting clients attending our successful Day Opportunities Service for people living with disability and/or dementia. He/she will act as a key worker for a group of clients and will assist in the planning of a programme of daily activities, will assist in involving and supporting a team of volunteers, will be responsible for maintaining accurate and appropriate client records, will also be involved in performing care tasks such as toileting and feeding when required.
