Bipolar Support Group Is In Harmony!
As from Thursday 2nd April 2015 Chance — Waltham Forest Bipolar Support Group has moved its meeting space to Harmony Hall.
Chance provides a friendly, confidential and accepting environment, peer support through group discussion, useful information, social activities and guidance on managing mood swings. Those feeling isolated or in need of help for themselves or for someone else, can come and be a part.
It is open to all individuals affected by bipolar including those with a diagnosis, their family members, friends and carers and the cost is free.
To use this service, you don’t need a referral and you don’t have to let anyone know you’re coming — you just turn up! The group meets on the first Thursday of every month, 7:30pm-9pm.
Chance now joins the Waltham Forest Hearing Voices Group who also meet in Harmony on Friday mornings. Harmony’s Foyer Gallery is also used regularly by such local mental health groups as thinkarts! and ArtWorks making Harmony in to a small mental health hub in the heart of Walthamstow
