CHARITY SHOP

Staffed by a team of very active and devoted volunteers, CREST administers a charity shop at no 55 High Street, Walthamstow. This has been visited by literally thousands of customers, seeking a bargain but who also have had their first exposure to CREST's work. The shop therefore benefits CREST as a major fund-raising activity. It does however also offer a volunteering opportunity for those seeking work to get valuable retail experience whilst being a literal "shopfront" for the organisation, promoting the work of and the values of CREST quite literally on the High Street.

VOLUNTEER!

Volunteers are asked to commit to a morning or an afternoon once a week. As part of a supportive team, they help out both in the front of the shop and at the back, sorting out donated goods, pricing, steaming, serving customers, helping out on the till etc.

DONATE!

We are always happy to accept the following donated goods.

• Clothing, Bric-a-brac
• Linens, Jewellery
• Unwanted gifts, Books
• Household Goods, Games and Toys
• Footwear, CD's, records and cassettes

Please note that due to space considerations we are unable, at present to accept furniture. The above listed items can either be brought into the shop itself or we can arrange for collection within the borough of Waltham Forest.
